Javier Garibaldi is an Argentinian-born, self-taught artist currently living and working in Adelaide.
Initially trained as a builder, his career has lead him to educational and mentoring projects involving youths from Australia.
His pieces reflect a deep connection to nature and a persistent curiosity for exploration, driven by a hands-on approach.
Combining traditional and experimental techniques,, Garibaldi creates abstract forms that explore the the tension between force and counterforce within both body and material.
Influenced by European modernism, abstraction, and constructivism, he sources his stones from across Australia. His work has been exhibited widely and acquired by private collectors.
